MELBOURNE: A former champion skateboarder lost an appeal against a six-month prison term for his role in a Malaysia-based international syndicate’s credit card scam in Melbourne.
A County Court judge heard that Rocky Ng Tin Yu, 38, was caught in October when phone calls intercepted during a police operation found him talking with a syndicate member, The Age newspaper reported.
