KUALA NERANG: Children of Thai descent will soon be able to learn their mother tongue in states where the language is widely used, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The Education Ministry will identify the schools that will teach the language and provide an adequate number of teachers for the subject, he said when speaking at a carnival at the Wat Tepchumnum in Naka, near here, yesterday.
