KUALA LUMPUR: Traditional Chinese New Year plants are in vogue again as families rush to nurseries to buy assortments of chrysanthemums, kun yam bamboos, pussy willows and kumquat trees to decorate their homes.
Unlike the Year of the Dragon where plants like long zhu guo (dragon pearl fruit plant) was the craze, this year, people are going back to traditional plants and avoiding snake-themed ones.
