RAUB: A man nicknamed "Rambo Bentong" was sentenced to a total of 115 years in jail after he pleaded guilty to four counts of rape and one count of committing unnatural sex.

Rabidin Satir, 42, from Tambunan, Sabah, was also ordered to be given 50 strokes of the rotan, at his sentencing at the Raub Sessions Court here Tuesday.

On Jan 31, the accused had pleaded guilty to three counts of rape and one for committing unnatural sex.

The guilty pleas were for raping a 17-year-old girl at a house in Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Bentong between 1am and 3am on June 21, 2010, and raping an eight-year-old girl at a riverside behind a house in Ketari, Bentong between 12.30am and 1.30am on April 29, 2011.

Two other charges were over raping and sodomising a 16-year-old girl at a house in Ketari, Bentong, between 1am and 2.30am on Oct 12, 2011.

Rabidin was nicknamed "Rambo Bentong" because his preferred choice of weapon to harm his victims was a Rambo knife.

Earlier, when he was first charged on Dec 13 last year, Rabidin had pleaded guilty to raping a nine-year-old girl in Taman Sri Marong, Bentong, between 2am and 3am on July 9, 2009.

On Nov 14 last year, three off-duty police personnel nabbed Rabidin after they spotted him using binoculars to stake out houses in Taman Hussein near a hillside of a secondary forest in Bentong.

In the fierce struggle, Rabidin attacked one of the policemen with a Rambo knife, leaving him hospitalised with a long gash and deep stab wound on the neck.
