Engineer fails to get her ex-lover to repay alleged debts


KUALA LUMPUR: An engineer failed in her bid to get her ex-lover to pay back alleged debts totalling more than RM99,000 in her defamation suit against him, following a Sessions Court ruling here Monday that he had not defamed but only insulted her.

Nur Shairah Ishak, 28, an Australian permanent resident, had initially sought RM103,955 from Lt Efftizal Hazrie Roslan, also 28, as unsettled debts in her defamation claim against him.
