PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak launched the 'My Beautiful Malaysia' programme at Taman Medan here Sunday.

The Prime Minister was greeted at the Taman Medan Cahaya field by Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Noh Omar, and Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Dr Ali Hamsa.

Najib had breakfast with Barisan Nasional leaders before laying the bricks for the construction of the Surau At-Taufiqiyyah's extension.

Najib later joined residents in painting Sekolah Menengah Taman Medan and planting fruit trees at the site together with My Beautiful Malaysia volunteers. - Bernama
