HK TV couple denies banquet plan

HONG KONG TV artistes Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Esther Kwan Wing Ho have denied that they are having a wedding banquet, China Press reported.

“No such thing. It is impossible (to have a wedding banquet). We are busy with our movie shooting,” said Cheung.

The couple, who has a seven-year-old, had registered their marriage in Australia in 2003.

Sin Chew Daily reported that the father learnt about the incident from a friend and he quickly brought his son and the two others to apologise to the teacher in Sungai Petani on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old tuition teacher accepted the apology.

The incident occurred at about 6pm on Monday after the tuition class.

> China Press reported that two robbers armed with parang forced a 25-year-old man to step out from his car before fleeing with the vehicle in front of a primary school in Ipoh at about 7am on Monday.

The man was dropping off his sister at the school when the incident took place.
