KUALA LUMPUR: Taking a leaf from the “Listen, listen, listen” refrain made famous by controversial speaker Sharifah Zohra Jabeen Syed Shah Miskin, a group of protesters held up banners which read “Diam diam diam (Silence, silence, silence)” against the Bar Council.
The group of several NGOs gathered outside the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex in Jalan Duta here yesterday to show support for lawyer Mohd Khairul Azam Abdul Aziz, who is challenging the legality of a Malaysian Bar emergency general meeting (EGM) on May 4 last year.
