A DOG in Bihar, northern India, ran away with Rs400,000 (RM22,700) kept in a plastic bag in a house last Thursday.
Nakched Mian, a grocer, had gone to wash his hands when he spotted the dog running away with the bag. He gave chase but it ran off into the village.
Police have told locals to help find the bag, which the dog may have dropped in the village, reported Tamil Nesan.

Temple chairman K. Gunasegaran, who spoke to reporters after their annual general meeting, said the state MIC had promised the temple the land.
He said the state MIC had said that they would hold talks with the estate management and get their approval.
He said that there are about 35 Hindu families living in the estate now and another 150 Hindu families living in the surrounding areas who patronise the temple for prayers.
