Extreme poor to receive intensive 1AZAM training

KUCHING: About 7,500 people who fall under the extreme poor category are set to undergo intensive training under the 1AZAM programme this year.

Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Hajah Fatimah Abdullah said the programme, which is an initiative under the Low-Income Households NKRA, was aimed at helping the extreme poor to be elevated from their current situation.
