KOTA BARU: PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu has changed his mind over the use of the word “Allah” by non-Muslims, following the footsteps of the party’s spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat who made a U-turn in his stand on Monday.
Mohamad, popularly known as Mat Sabu, said he would abide by the decision made by PAS Syura Council that non-Muslims should not use the word in translations of their religious texts as it would not reflect the real meaning of the sacred word.
