SANDAKAN: A mother and her five children escaped in the nick of time when two wooden stilt houses collapsed into the sea at Kampung Lupak Meluas Laut here.
Nisfa Habiblah, 42, said she and her children, aged between three and 16, could have been seriously injured in the 9am incident if they were not alerted by neighbours.
