KOTA KINABALU: Police rescued seven Indonesian women forced into prostitution by a syndicate and arrested two syndicate members following a raid in an apartment at the Inanam township near here.
Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm Jauteh Dikun said the women, aged between 20 and 41, were promised jobs in restaurants but were instead locked up in the apartment after arriving here.
