Selangor Govt to blame over water disruption, says Syabas

KUALA LUMPUR: Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) claims the Selangor Government’s delay in setting up additional pumping system in Wangsa Maju has caused disruption of water supply to more than half a million people since last week.

Chief executive officer Datuk Ruslan Hassan said the proposal to build the system was made in 2009 and in March 2012 to the Government which approved the plan and loan for the project.
