KUALA LUMPUR: The court will hear on Nov 7 the prosecution's preliminary objection against an application by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to quash the charges against him for allegedly violating a court order by taking part in the Bersih 3.0 rally.
Anwar had applied for Sessions Court judge Mahmud Abdullah to review magistrate Zaki Asyraf Zubir's April 26 order barring people from gathering in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka for the rally on April 28.
