Cops bust ring that stole smartphones worth RM3mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Police have busted the smartphone theft syndicate that stole 1,407 Samsung Galaxy Note II worth RM3.23mil with the arrest of 13 people, including the group's mastermind.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crimes Investigation Department Director Comm Datuk Syed Ismail Syed Azizan said the suspects aged between 22 and 43 including four women were arrested several days after the theft at MASKargo at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Oct 20. Another suspect turned himself in at the Sepang police station yesterday.
