GEORGE TOWN: Two Iranian nurses escaped the gallows after the High Court acquitted them of trafficking 3.9kg of methamphetamines at the Penang International Airport last year.
However, Leila Fatemi, 36, and Sahar Mohammadi, 22, were sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment for possessing the drugs.
