KOTA BARU: A senior PAS representative found himself navigating troubled waters when he spoke about the need for the younger ulama to take over the party's ageing leaders.
Dr Nik Mazian Nik Mohamad (PAS-Gaal) said that as a three-term assemblyman, he was willing to make way for younger leaders “for the sake of Islam”, saying it was imperative to find younger successors to carry on with the task of implementing Islamic values in the state.
