PKR’s Rafizi seeks to quash Bafia charges

SHAH ALAM: PKR director of strategy Rafizi Ramli filed an application at the High Court here to quash charges against him for revealing confidential banking details linked to the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) issue.

The three main grounds of the application were that the charge was an abuse of the prosecution’s power, it was selective prosecution and it would be against public policy to charge Rafizi for exposing the alleged abuse of public funds.
