BESUT: The people should judge for themselves the act by some quarters who stomped on pictures of leaders and called for the Jalur Gemilang to be changed, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Describing such actions by several youths on Merdeka eve as “forsaking patriotism”, he said these could lead to the destruction of the fundamental values that the nation had based its success on.
