PONTIAN: Residents of Kampung Parit Puasa were shaken after a single-seater light aircraft crashed into an oil palm plantation some 100m from a row of houses here.
The pilot, Singaporean Samuel Ling Shi Min, 25, from a flying club based in Senai, died on the spot after his Cessna aircraft crashed at the plantation near the kampung in Ayer Baloi some 16km from Pontian town here at about 1.30pm yesterday.
