JOHOR BARU: A 25-year-old man with financial difficulties decided to fake his own kidnapping in order to collect ransom from his own father.
Johor Baru (South) OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Yaakob said that police had received a report from the 60-year-old father that "loan sharks" had kidnapped his son.
