KUALA LUMPUR: Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim explained that no official logo is being used for the 55th Merdeka Day celebration this year except for the 1Malaysia logo, as was the case last year.
He said the theme for this year's Merdeka Day celebration was "55 Tahun Merdeka Janji Ditepati" (55 Years of Independence, Promises Fulfilled).
