PETALING JAYA: Police have identified about 300 points in the state to install real-time close-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system, said Selangor deputy police chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Datuk A. Thaiveegan.
He said the initiative was part of the Reducing Crime NKRA, which he believed would be of significant boost for the police in combating crime and ultimately bringing down the crime rate.
