GEORGE TOWN: Betty Chew, wife of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, denied allegations that her husband had had a secret relationship with a former staff.
"My husband did not have an affair with his former staff and I had repeatedly said I had never argued with her or assaulted her or anyone for that matter," she said Saturday at a press conference during the launch of George Town's fourth year as a Unesco World Heritage Site.
