SHAH ALAM: The subpoenas issued against three DPPs in the murder trial of cosmetics millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya to appear as witnesses in the defence's bid to expunge two exhibits in the case were meant to 'embarass' and withdraw the DPPs from the prosecution team, the High Court heard.
DPP Nor Azimul Azami Mohamad Nor submitted Friday the subpoenas were offensive and an abuse of court process.
