MALACCA: The Education Ministry has spent RM49mil to upgrade design lab facilities in 114 secondary schools by equipping them with Formula One (F1) hardware specially imported from Britain to develop designing skills among students.
Deputy Education Minister Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi said RM500,000 had been allocated this year for the maintenance and repair of small F1 appliances which were damaged or old.
