KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians need not be concerned following a case in Nanjing, China where a consumer's finger turned blue after buying leek, believed to have been sprayed with copper sulphate to keep the vegetable fresh.
Copper sulphate does not affect the health of humans, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Hasan Abdul Rahman.
