KUALA LUMPUR: The orang asli living at Tasik Bera have been in conflict with the authorities since the natural freshwater wetlands system was listed as a Ramsar site.
Kampung Gau batin (village head) Norya Abas said many laws came into play after Tasik Bera in Pahang was listed under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands in 1994 for conservation and sustainable use.
