Family in a quandary over religious status of late fisherman

GEORGE TOWN: Fisherman-cum-businessman Khoo Boo Soo died of a heart attack on Monday and his body is scheduled to be cremated today, but his family members are now in a quandary following claims that he was a Muslim convert.

Preparations were being made for the cremation to be held at the Batu Gantung crematorium when an Indonesian lawyer, claiming to be representing Khoos Indonesian wife, appeared on Wednesday and told the family that the deceased had converted to Islam.
