PETALING JAYA: Proham has called on the Government to use Suhakam or set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry instead of having an Independent Advisory Panel to probe the Bersih 3.0 rally.
In making the call, the human rights group said this would reflect the Government's seriousness in establishing an independent mechanism with the necessary legal provisions to undertake an independent inquiry without any political or bureaucratic interference.
