KUALA LUMPUR: The decision on the Haj quota for Malaysian pilgrims, whether it will be reduced following the opposition-backed Bersih demonstrations in Mecca and Medina on April 26, will be known in July.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom said Thursday that the Malaysian government was worried that the illegal gatherings might affect the Haj quota for Malaysia.
