Woman killed as bus overturns on her first trip out


HULU SELANGOR: After more than 30 years as a rubber tapper in rural Chenderiang, 54-year-old K. Vimala, finally got her first fun trip out but it ended in tragedy when the tour bus she and her two grandchildren were in overturned near Sungai Buaya.

Vimala, bus driver S. Velmuruvu, 25, and another passenger, Setapa Mat, 46, were flung out of the Malacca-bound bus after it crashed into the Sg Buaya toll plaza construction yard near Km434 of the North-South Expressway and overturned.
