PUTRAJAYA: The new minimum wage saw mixed reaction from business owners, with some showing concern over its impact on foreign direct investment (FDI).
The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM) felt that a blanket implementation of a RM900 minimum wage could scare off foreign investors, especially for projects in the rural areas.
