KUALA LUMPUR: A 38-year-old woman has been awarded damages totalling RM120,000 in a medical negligence suit filed 10 years ago against a private hospital and a doctor who carried out a surgery she did not need.
Gurmit Kaur, a mother of four girls, had made plans to enrol in a “baby choice” programme to improve her chances of getting a boy should she conceive again.
