KOTA KINABALU: City Hall has turned down a request by a group seeking to have a sit-in protest at the historical Padang Merdeka here and has invited them, instead, to attend a public anti-drugs rally there.
The protest group, seeking free and fair elections, has accepted the invitation and urged their supporters to come in yellow and green to attend the government-organised Say No to Drugs event at the field on Saturday.
