JOHOR BARU: A religious teacher was sentenced to 15 years' jail and 12 strokes of the rotan after a Sessions court here found him guilty Tuesday of raping his 13-year-old student.
Nur Akmal @ Basok Bakri Abdul Kader, 31, was found guilty of raping the victim at his home in Taman Perling here at around 3pm on Feb 21 last year.
