KUALA LUMPUR: A student allegedly involved in a protest at Dataran Merdeka has been charged in the Magistrate's court here with obstructing a public servant in his duty.
Omar Mohd Azmi, who is in his final year of a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health in a private college in Ulu Klang here, pleaded not guilty to deliberately obstructing Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) enforcement officer Mohd Masran Mamat, 34, from discharging his public functions of arresting and escorting Mohd Fahmi Reza Mohd Zarin, 35.
