PETALING JAYA: Thirty-six Taiwanese citizens, four of them women, were fined a total of RM103,500 by two magistrate’s courts here after they pleaded guilty to committing offences under the Passport Act 1966.
In the first court, magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abdul Wahid fined 19 Taiwanese men aged between 21 and 32 and a 25-year-old Taiwanese woman RM3,000 in default three months’ jail each for having forged stamps in their passports.
