MELBOURNE: A Malaysian man has been jailed three years with a non-parole period of 18 months for importing 5kg of Chinese cold and flu medication into Australia inside vases and table lamps.
Jackson Lee, 23, was sentenced in the South Australia District Court after pleading guilty to attempting to import ContacNT containing almost 1.7kg of pseudoephedrine, the Australian Associated Press reports. ContacNT is a cold and flu medication sold over the counter in China.
