KUALA LUMPUR: The National Heart Institute (IJN) Foundation spends more than RM2 million a year to assist underprivileged patients from various parts of the country.
It said that under its Patient Assistance Programme, the funds were for their heart surgery, the purchase of devices and after-surgery care inclusive of angiogram and angioplasty treatment.
