Perkasa seeks police permit for April 29 gathering


KUALA LUMPUR: Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) on Tuesday applied for a permit from the police to organise the 'Raja Berdaulat, Kasih Dijunjung' assembly on April 29, to be held either at Padang Merbok or Dataran Merdeka.

Perkasa deputy president Datuk Abdul Rahman Abu Bakar said the assembly, scheduled for 9.30am, was to celebrate the installation of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah as the King on April 11.
