PUTRAJAYA: Only a stiff custodial sentence meted out on former imam Hoslan Husin for throwing his shoes at a Federal Court bench, would redeem the dignity of the apex court, said Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin.
In a 16-page written judgment, Zulkefli said the act of throwing objects like shoes has always been viewed as being obnoxious, demeaning and degrading when hurled at a person and worst still thrown before a panel of judges of the apex court of the nation.
