Court sets July 18 to hear Anwar’s suit against Utusan


KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has set July 18 to hear a defamation suit by Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim against Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd for allegedly implying that he wanted to legalise homosexuality.

High Court judge V.T. Singham ordered the parties yesterday to file various documents, including agreed facts and issues, to be tried for the hearing proper.
