PETALING JAYA: The Government Transfor-mation Programme's (GTP) 2011 Report Card results are welcomed but more needs to be done to fight crime, contain the escalating cost of living and improve public transport.
Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the police must be sensitive to public perception and strive to improve and strengthen public confidence in the force.
