EC urged to allow pre-registration for those aged 20


THE Election Commission (EC) has been asked to allow pre-registration of citizens who reach the age of 20 as voters.

“It requires the amendment of Article 119 of the Federal Constitution to implement the proposal and we suggest that it should be done during the 13th Parliament sitting,” the report on the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) on Electoral Reforms said.
