Educators awarded for outstanding performance

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has awarded some 14,000 educators from 403 schools nationwide on March 15 under the New Deals initiative with various incentives worth around RM15mil million.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin congratulated the staff from 403 schools and said the New Deals was a reward to those who achieved their targets set under the GTP's Education NKRA in an effort to reduce the disparity in quality educational opportunities between rural and urban schools.
