KOTA KINABALU: Thieves continue to wreak havoc on the state’s electricity supply, targeting copper cables belonging to Sabah Electricty Sdn Bhd (SESB) and damaging its substations.
There is little sign the problem has abated over the years, said SESB managing director Abdul Razak Salim, following the latest incident at a substation providing power to the Telibong water treatment plant in Tamparuli, about 35km from here.
