KUALA LUMPUR: Law students can study Islamic law but it is not a ticket for them, especially non-Muslims, to become syarie lawyers, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom.
He also said the government had not decided to allow non-Muslim lawyers to handle cases in Syariah courts.
