Number of addicts halved


MALACCA: The number of drug addicts in Malaysia has gone down by a whopping 50% — from 23,000 in 2010 to 11,194 last year.

Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wira Abu Seman Yusop said more addicts were seeking treatment and rehabilitation at the 1Malaysia Cure & Care Clinics nationwide.
